Brooklyn Free Clinic earns rave reviews
Brooklyn Free Clinic is a shining example of everything American medicine needs to be (but isn’t at all). I had an amazing experience here last night - from the friendliness of reception to the professionalism of the medical staff - and the only downside I saw was that this free community service is one that more people don’t know about.

Then-contributor (now editor) Tim presented a guide to health care for the non-insured back in 2009, which includes the Brooklyn Free Clinic and a handful of other community-assisted health networks.
Anyone have a story to share about the Brooklyn Free Clinic? We’re just glad it’s here.
P.S. Check out this bar night to benefit the BFC, in March. This is just like trolling the late-night bar crowds for young Grey’s Anatomy knock-offs, except about 10x more noble.
